The Institute of Policy Analysis and Research(IPAR-Rwanda)
IPAR- Rwanda is the host for the Urban governance house Kigali. It is a leading independent, not-for-profit Research and Policy Analysis Think Tank in Rwanda. It works to enhance evidence-based policy making through Research and Policy analysis to improve policy and impact change in Rwanda. Its core areas of intervention include: Research and Policy Analysis; Public Policy Dialogues and Debates, and Capacity Building in the areas of Policy Analysis and Research.
Centre for African Bio-Entrepreneurship (CABE)
The Centre for African Bio-Entrepreneurship (CABE) is the co-host for the Youth Employment Creation – Kenya House, alongside Alternatives Africa. CABE works to enhance the skills of smallholder farmers, women, and youth entrepreneurs in Kenya to advance their meaningful participation in agriculture and agribusiness activities. CABE uniqueness is the focus on agro-entrepreneurship, business development, innovations, and policy process. Their adoption of the value chain, farmer-field school and business approaches ensures that farmers, women, and youth get engaged in profitable and sustainable agribusinesses.
Alternatives Africa
Alternatives Africa (AA) is the co-host for the Youth Employment Creation – Kenya House, alongside CABE. Alternatives seeks to significantly contribute towards socio-economic development through economic advocacy and the provision of affordable business development/professional services, to ensure youth-led informal income generating activities have access to the corporate systems, structures and processes vital for their transition into formal enterprises-which we believe will accelerate job creation and spur national transformation Alternatives works to provide an “affordable” ecosystem that offers affordable business development services, affordable financial services and affordable marketing services to youth-led micro and small enterprises for economic growth and job creation.
PAMOJA Trust
Pamoja Trust is the host for Urban Governance – Kenya. It facilitates and advocates for processes and approaches aimed at strengthening people’s formations to ensure human dignity for the urban poor. The Pamoja Trust has been part of the national progressive civil society and people’s movement that have helped to expose abuses to human rights and secure a moratorium against evictions, strengthen civil liberties, and mobilize and animate the urban poor to strengthen their quest to secure and safeguard their dignity.
The Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network (KEWASNET)
KEWASNET is the National Network of Water Civil Society Organizations in Kenya. KEWASNET hosts the Water Governance House. The network works towards a society with sustainable universal access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene by promoting good governance in the water, sanitation and hygiene sector. KEWASNET seeks to enhance the capacity of members and partners in the water, sanitation and hygiene sector, the Network also works towards ensuring the existence and improvement of policy environment and practices in WASH / WRM.
Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD)
Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) is the Host for the Action for Empowerment and Accountability (E4EA). It is an independent, not-for-profit, research training, advocacy and capacity building organization. Its mandate is to mobilise global opinion and resources for democratic development and provide an independent space to reflect critically on the challenges posed to the democratization and development process in West Africa.
